Job Description

Moores is a values driven law firm committed to making a genuine difference for our clients, our people, and the communities we serve. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a lawyer (2-4 PQE) to join our Not for Profit and Charities team. 

This is an opportunity to work closely with purpose driven clients and contribute to outcomes that truly matter.

About the role
You will work with a diverse range of not for profit and for purpose organisations, including social enterprises, schools, community housing providers, disability organisations, and faith based organisations. By supporting them to navigate a complex regulatory environment, you’ll be helping them achieve their purposes for good.

Your work will include advising on:

•    Governance and regulatory compliance
•    Establishing and restructuring legal entities
•    Strategic advice to board and executive teams
•    Charity registration and tax concessions (ACNC / ATO / State regulators)
•    Fundraising and commercial arrangements
•    Mergers, collaborations and sector specific challenges

This role offers direct client engagement and the opportunity to build trusted relationships, including participating in board level discussions as your experience grows.
