About the role
We have a rare opportunity for a legal practitioner to join the Moores Property team.
This role is ideal for a legal professional with experience in advising on the terms of retirement village contracts, particularly when representing residents.
Our high performing team love to solve complex legal problems for purpose-aligned organisations and individuals. Our team prides itself on providing advice on all aspects of property law including for the affordable housing sector, NFP sector, religious property trusts, as well as commercial landlords and tenants. You will work closely with Practice Leaders and clients as a trusted advisor on matters ranging from;
• conveyancing for both residential and commercial properties, assisting with the preparation and negotiating of contracts of sale and all related property matters;
• providing advice and guidance to current and prospective retirement village residents;
• leasing for both commercial and retail properties; and
• involvement in multi-faceted development projects.
About you
As a true team player, you naturally collaborate with others, and you are committed to achieving your financial targets whilst working for a company which is here for good! You will possess;
• 4 plus years property law experience;
• Experience in retirement village contract advice including entering into resident agreements and advice on exit entitlements;
• Practical, pragmatic and solution focused;
• Strong relational skills, enjoys dealing with people individually, and a focus on delivering exceptional client service;
• Exceptional drafting skills and an eye for detail
